For nearly two decades, an entrepreneurial and agile company called Technology Training Corporation has been teaching U.S. military and government professionals about UAS technology, a period of time nearly as long as the venerable AUVSI, and certainly with greater subject matter depth than the Monday morning QB “drone trade show.” It’s Rolodex is filled with military leaders in every branch of service and in every federal agency. It’s difficult to sustain the trust of the United States government without producing a quality product.

The company leverages it’s vast database and immaculate reputation to produce two flagship UAS shows that take place in the two U.S. hubs of UAS technology at opposite times of the year. UAS East happens in D.C. each fall and UAS West happens in the winter in San Diego.

On February 12 and 13, UAS West will present the top of the top of government leadership responsible for critical budgetary and technology decisions involving UAS for the United States. Key subjects to this year’s West edition will be emerging U.S. defense department and government UAS needs and how those needs will need to be refined given the recent U.S. government shutdown; a review of the DoD’s UAS program; platforms, research and new capabilities under consideration for U.S. government integration; how an unstable regulatory climate will effect government usage of drones moving forward; and probably the most important issue of them all — counter UAS.
